Globular clusters are incredible things; while so much smaller than galaxies, their relative close proximity and sheer number of resolvable stars often make images look quite stunning.

This image was taken with my William Optics 72mm Megrez (a telescope that I love by the way!), I really need to take a look at this object with my bigger Skywatcher.

M13 (NGC 6205) contains about 300,000 stars, and as its name suggests can be found in the constellation of Hercules. M13 is about 145 light-years in diameter, and in the region of 25,000 light years from Earth.
